What is Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry is a priority at Christ Church of Atlanta and reflected with the programs, staff and volunteers provided and involved. We hope that through the opportunities offered, middle school and high school students will have a clear understanding of what it means to be in a growing relationship with the Living God, challenged to deepened their own faith and encouraged to share Jesus Christ with others.

Sunday Morning: Middle School and High School students gather to study God's Word each week through a conversational, age-appropriate teaching experience. Time is spent not only developing relationships among the community but also praying and learning together.

High School Kairos

Kairos is the name of CCA's ministry to middle school and high school students in Atlanta. High school students meet from 6:45-8:15 pm on Monday nights in the youth building at Mt. Paran Church (2055 Mount Paran Road, Atlanta, GA 30327). The evening starts with a shared meal and fellowship time before students break up into guys and girls for an extended time of time of teaching, prayer and worship. This year's teaching will focus on the Doctrine's of the church, prophecies about Christ in the Old Testament and the book of Romans.

Middle School Kairos

Middle school students and leaders meet in homes all over the Buckhead area for games, snacks, Bible study and prayer from 7-8 pm on Wednesdays. Teaching focuses on the lives of people who met Jesus face to face and how those encounters changed them forever. But the truth of Lutherís affirmation is eternal. It is eternal because Godís Word is eternal. The grass withers, the flower fades. But the word of our God stands forever. (Isaiah 40:8)
