Education and Formation

Our discipleship never ends. Following Jesus is a life-long journey of faith and formation.  At times, this can be confusing, frustrating, or difficult. For this reason, we do our best to meet you right where you are and help you take a step further in your faith and closer to Jesus Christ. We have excellent classes for all ages, ministries for men and women, and dynamic teachers in our church.

Ken Boa | Sundays | 9:30 am | Atlanta International School

Are science and faith compatible? Is faith reasonable in light of modern scientific discoveries in biochemistry and astronomy? Dr. Boa explores these and other questions in this intriguing teaching.

Men’s Wednesday Lunchtime Book Study | 12 noon | Parish House

Led by Pastor Michael, the book study is currently covering C.S. Lewis’s Mere Christianty and we are using Ken Boa’s The Serious Business of Heaven as a guide for the group discussions.

Ladies’ Ministries

Monday Morning Women’s Bible Study

Mondays | 10:00 am | Christ Church Fellowship Hall

The Monday Morning Bible Study started meeting in the Fall of 2018 as a core piece of our Women’s Ministry. Sharing our love of Scripture is foundational to the joy we find in fellowship, giving and service. We use Creative Living Bible Studies – simple, practical, scripture-based studies written by Diana Schick. Classes meet on the first, third and fourth Monday mornings at 10:00 am during the school year.  The study takes a break during the summer but has once a month fellowship gatherings.

Third Day Women discussion group

 The 3rd day of each Month |  7:30 pm | locations vary

All women are invited to join us for a time of discussion using the book “Devotional Classics,”  a compilation edited by Richard Foster.  We meet on the 3rd day of each month, depending upon the calendar, and aim for after hours so that working women can participate.

G.I.F.T. Growing In Faith Together

2nd Mondays | 10:00 am | Christ Church Fellowship Hall

Growing in Faith Together is a monthly program designed primarily for women, but often the topic is of interest to men as well. With worship, prayer, and speakers who both inform and inspire us, we meet on the 2nd Monday of the month during the school year. Guests are always welcome.
