2018 MISSION PARTNERS
Since its founding in 1998, Christ Church of Atlanta has been committed to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ both locally and throughout the world. All recipients must provide a statement of faith and be actively and effectively spreading the true gospel of Jesus Christ. The 2018 mission grants were made to the following partners:
- American Anglican Council – To build up and defend Great Commission Anglican churches in North America and worldwide through advocacy and counsel, leadership development, and equipping the local church.

- Atlanta Dream Center – To support the general operating budget for three ministries of the Atlanta Dream Center: 1) Out of Darkness: supporting survivors of commercial sexual exploitation through their entire journey of healing, from rescue to restoration 2) iAM: to end homelessness by providing emergency relief, as well as facilitating restoration for the whole person-body, soul and spirit 3) Metro Kids: Mentorship for at-risk children and their communities. atldreamcenter.com
- Beacon of Hope/Decatur Pregnancy Center – To support its vision to be the first resource chosen for unplanned pregnancy and sexual health decisions and its dedication to saving the lives of the unborn, and leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. beaconofhopepcc.com
- Byelorussian Mission – To minister to Russian immigrants in Atlanta, to plant new churches in Belarus and Ukraine where no evangelical church presently exists, to work with Belarus orphanages to place children in Christian families, and to reach Belarus students with the gospel message of Jesus’ saving grace. byelorussianmission.org
- Child Evangelism Fellowship Atlanta-Fulton Chapter – For the establishment of the Atlanta-Fulton Chapter of CEF and their mission to increase significantly the number of Good News Clubs in local public schools. (Christ Church sponsored and staffed the first Good News Club in the City of Atlanta Public Schools almost a decade ago.) cefatl-fulton.org
- China Reach – To develop missiological courses in Chinese to support the China Missiological Education Development Project, which trains the emerging Chinese missionary movement. For security reasons, there is no website for China Reach.
- Christ Church Jerusalem – Holocaust Believers Memorial Project – Christ Church in Jerusalem’s Old City is trying to locate as many names and details as possible of Jewish followers of Jesus (and their congregations) who perished in the Holocaust. These names and details will be housed in the Church’s Archive and their names will be inscribed on a special Memorial Wall at the Church. christchurchjerusalem.org
- Elam Ministries – to train leaders for ministry, equip the Iranian church with Bibles and other resources, and to send the gospel into the Iran region through training evangelists, church planting, and Christian media. elam.com
- Heartbound Ministries – Ministry to prisoners in Georgia state prisons, providing chaplains and other support to change the culture from one of crime and incarceration to one of hope and restoration. heartboundministries.com
- OneRace, Inc. – For costs of their Biblically-founded 2018 racial reconciliation event at Stone Mountain Georgia. oneracemovement.com
- Reformed Theological Seminary, Charlotte, NC – to provide matching scholarship support to a deserving local seminary student. rts.edu
- Running the R.A.C.E. /Advancing Native Missions – 1) Ministry to share Jesus Christ with Muslims who have an extensive knowledge of the Koran and Islam, 2) education of Christians about Islam in a way that enables them to understand the beliefs of Muslims and to evangelize them. advancingnativemissions.com
- Jews For Jesus – an effective international Messianic Jewish organization seeking to share its belief that Jesus is the promised Messiah of the Jewish people. jewsforjesus.org
