Children’s Ministry

Our Children’s Ministry

The primary goal of Children’s Ministry at Christ Church is to reach children of all ages with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We provide a supportive environment and framework for families to worship together, fellowship with one another, and grow in their knowledge of and relationship with Jesus. We partner with parents to disciple their children in the Christian faith during these very formative years and help them establish a strong spiritual foundation for their families.

Christ Church’s Children’s Ministry is committed to:

Sunday Morning

Our Sunday morning classes bring to life God’s love through Bible stories, activities, and songs.

Wednesday Kidz Club

Children attending our Kidz Club meetings will be learning about who God is, knowing and understanding God’s Word, and applying God’s Word to their life.

Frequently Asked Questions

We offer childcare for preschool aged kids (and younger). Children in K – 5th grades join their parents for the worship service.

For children, we offer two weekly programs: Sunday School and Kidz Club.

There are two age groups for Sunday School, toddler-pre-k and kindergarten – 5th grade. Sunday School meets from 9:30 to 10:15. On Sunday mornings, we focus on teaching children scripture and Bible stories.

On Wednesday evenings during the school year, we have Kidz Club. This is where the Bible comes to life. Each week the kids will be immersed into a biblical story through worship, games, and interactive activities. Kidz Club is for ages Kindergarten – 5th grade. For the 2024-25 school year, we meet from 5:45 – 7:30 p.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Welcome Center, Building A, 3003 Howell Mill Road NW Atlanta 30327. Dinner is served and is definitely kid-friendly.

You do not need to register your child before attending any program or event. However, if your child will be regularly attending, we ask that you fill out a registration form. Registration forms for Kidz Club are available on-line

Yes, please! All children and students are encouraged to invite friends and family members to any program or event. Even if we are mid-semester, we invite children and students to join us.

It takes a lot of helping hands with a variety of gifts and talents to raise up faithful children and students. We need your help. We need administrators, teachers, creative designers, and task handlers. We can always use another set of hands on the team. Getting involved is simple. Email Ms. Jan (jrobinson@christchurchatl.org). If you know of a particular way you would like to help, please let us know.
